Es ist sehr interessant bushcraft mal aus einem anderen Blickwinkel zu sehen

Mit diesem Buch in der Wildnis, dann viel Glück. Es ließt sich flüssig und schlüssig, diverse Kapitel sind auch recht brauchbar und enthalten auch gute und brauchbare Tips. Aber: Das Thema Trinkwasser ist absolut unterbeleuchtet (ok, man soll es abkochen, was für eine Neuigkeit) ansonsten kommt da nichts (bspw. bauen eines primitiven Wasserfilters, Einsatz von Filtern und Filtersystemen, benötigte Wassermengen). Ohne Wasser geht halt nichts, das scheint bis zu dem Autor nicht durchgedrungen.

Libro cult, ottimo compagno di viaggio con consigli base sul Bushcraft, necessario in seguito mettere alla pratica il tutti con un buon corso e un altrettanto buon istruttore, come il traduttore del testo italiano, Luciano Cicchelli!

Auch wenn Canterbury eine nicht ganz unumstrittene Person in der Bushcraft-Szene ist, gehört seine Buchreihe mittlerweile zu den Klassikern was dieses Thema betrifft. Auch wenn es ein 101, also Grundlagen-Buch, ist, werden die Themen zum Teil nur äußerst oberflächlich angekratzt. Viele Dinge beziehen sich exklusiv auf Nordamerika und auf andere Dinge, die sich sehr wohl zu den Grundlagen zähle, wird gar nicht eingegangen. Desweiteren ist die Übersetzung einfach nur schlecht.
