I was very pleasantly surprised by this item. For a minor film, Beauty and the Beast presents extremely well in blu-ray. I highly recommend this item & Amazon.de for its fine service.

I honestly really enjoyed this movie. Possibly because I wasn't expecting it to be "good". I agree with most of the complaints about this movie, the costumes are not authentic, the wigs are terrible. The acting's not the greatest, but I don't think its as bad as everyone else is saying. Maybe it's just 'cause I grew up on Hercules and Xena.
But here's what I appreciated about it. When Freya wears armor to go rescue her father, it's actual freakin armor,

most people have put it better but man, this movie is bad. Like, the sets and costumes and svens hair. The acting is sad and there no real love story at all. like, give it a look see to see where we're coming from, but this movie is at best a good thing to laugh at and just a horribly done concept at worst. Try not to waste your time watching the whole thing. you can skip watch it and still know the whole story.

3 stars is more than this movie deserve-it was not okay. A bad "B" movie with a a horrible ending, bad acting , bad writing, bad editing, even very bad hair extensions on "Sven" who should have been billed 4th instead of "the beast".. Bad costumes-what were they thinking? Viking women wearing purple silk and fitted gowns from the 18th century? I don't really know the wardrobe of viking men or women but it's highly doubtful. zu viel blut-schauderhafte hauptdarstellerin,hözern und langweilig,da hilft auch das kurze röckchen nichts.fazit: wieder mal ein film auf den ich lieber hätte verzichten sollen

die Geschichte mal etwas anders interpretiert, aber trotzdem ganz gut gemacht. Gute Handlung, gute Schauspieler, alles im allem ganz gut!!!!

This movie is completely a B rated film, but I always like terrible movies. The story is good enough and the idea is well played. However, when there are mythical creatures present like dragons you can definitely tell it's completely fake. If you have good imagination this film can work for you, if you don't just know that this isn't a blockbuster film.
