My original brunette I got back a few years ago at DG for 5 bucks. This doll is certainly trending as a basic Asian Barbie. Of course, I wanted her to be posable so I got the Red Head curvy yoga MTM Barbie. But when I went to do the head swap something happened so I had to leave it to a coworker to fix. I was afraid it wouldn't happen.
Meanwhile, I needed a replacement. Since this is my favorite doll to try on clothes that I make (I am still learning...) I was in shock to see the price rise

Nice doll with simple heart patterned dress and sling back sneakers. The only reason I rated 4 stars is because I ordered blonde and got brunette but I’m happy because she very pretty.

Ich wollte eine hübsche, einfache Barbie zum Basteln.
Diese hier hatte mir vom Preis und vom Aussehen sehr gut gefallen. Noch besser hat mir gefallen, daß die Puppe nicht mit mindestens 3 Plastiktackern am Kopf an die Verpackung festgemacht worden ist. Man kann sie ganz einfach entnehmen.
Die Kleidung dieser Puppe ist gruselig schlecht, wie häufig bei Mattel. Aber sehr robust, bestimmt für kleine Kinder gut geeignet. Die Schuhe sind überraschenderweise okay.

If you're looking for more than a basic Barbie doll look elsewhere. This doesn't have much in the way of outfit/accessories or articulation. And on top of that she has flat feet. My 2yo doesn't care though and loves it.

The Barbie is cute. However, the plastic bubble over her appears to have been sliced and the plastic isn’t attached to the cardboard backer. Barbie appears to be intact. But it’s pretty raggedy to give as a gift. The shipping envelope was pristine, and the bubble wasn’t crushed, so I assume shipping wasn’t the issue.

Dress has no closures. It pulls off over the head.
Feet are flat. If you buy additional shoes for this doll, they have to be flats, not heels.

We loved this Barbie since we are a family of mostly brown or black hair. I bought this for my granddaughter who is half Filipino. She said it looks like her mommy. She absolutely loves it. She’s 5. She plays with it more than her other Barbies. Great little doll!

Bought her at a very reasonable price. Had several friends want one like it so I bought them and they paid me. Very sturdy basic body. Just don’t try to pull off the head, it may break the neckpiece. My only suggestion is to made the bodies and heads all one piece like they use to.

It's been a couple of decades at least since I've handled the Barbie but surely this jacked up haircut is not what the manufacturer intended. Do they all look like this or did somebody repackage something and send it back after their kid whacked a bunch off and then it was sold to me as new
